| 内容記述 | The article discusses the main works of Elliot Eisner, an influential but controversial scholar in the field of curriculum and instruction. The focus of this paper is an exploration of his pedagogical philosophy, specifically as it relates to instructional planning and organization practices aimed at enhancing student learning and achievement. It includes a synopsis of Eisner’s pedagogical philosophy and evaluates the practicality of implementing Eisner’s curriculum improvement suggestions in U.S. educational environments. The gaps between ideal pedagogical philosophies and contemporary U.S. education practice are unmeasurable. The article emphasizes the importance of continued discussion of the paradigm shifts needed to implement Eisner’s ideas in U.S. Kindergarten through 12th grade educational environments. | |||||||
